My name is Scott Meyer. I am a certified fitness professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. I have been passionate about health and fitness since high school and started lifting weights in 12th grade to get ready for a 4-year tour in the United States Navy.
Since 2006 I’ve worked with clients from all fitness levels, including those new to fitness, collegiate athletes, and elders. I consider my clients’ health a top priority and am committed to helping you reach your goals through individualized training programs. I am highly experienced helping clients with weight management and weight loss, managing osteoporosis, high blood pressure, and obesity, and assisting with post- rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries. I train clients to achieve their specific goals injury-free and enjoy sharing my knowledge to help you achieve your full potential.





I hold numerous certifications in personal training, including:
- ACE (American Council on Exercise)
- ACE – Senior’s Fitness Specialist
- FMS (Functional Movement Systems) Level 1&2,
- CPR/AED
- Crossfit level 1,

What to expect on an initial visit?
I will walk you through a Functional Movement Screen that incorporates several different movements. This screening will show us how you move, evaluate your balance, and determine whether you have any physical limitations. From there, we will work on corrective exercises for your home and gym, followed by strength and conditioning exercises tailored to your health goals. My primary objective is to ensure you are moving through specific exercises pain free to reach your health goals.

NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING
I offer my clients different nutritional plans to choose from based on their needs and weight-loss and/or performance goals. Calories from proteins, fats, and complexed carbohydrates will vary depending on these goals. I always recommend you see a doctor first to get your levels checked such as blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, have food allergies, or are deficient in any vitamins or minerals.

GOAL ORIENTED PROGRAMMED WORKOUTS
For all of my clients, I keep a detailed log of every workout we perform, which makes all of our workouts measurable. My conditioning workouts are like a game in that you’re trying to beat a previous time, squatting a bit deeper for a certain work/rest ratio or working your way to a full range of motion push-up.
